How it works

Coaching is a flexible, goal orientated process to support, motivate and guide you through the overwhelm of your unique set of circumstances.

Whether you are separating, stuck in “should I, shouldn’t I” or trying to work out who you are now, it's focused on forwards momentum, one step at a time.  Coaching is a practical intervention that helps you move towards achieving a goal, one set by you that when realised will have a profound impact on your life.  These goals are all stepping stones to your new future.

We follow a 5 stage process

1.  Getting to know you

You tell me everything you want to, get it all off your chest as we want to focus on rebuilding you going forwards and not on the past. Here we figure out where you are currently and what support you need the most.

2.  Chanelling you

We work together to get those negative emotions in check and stop them taking over.  We want to channel them through a different lens so you feel less overwhelmed and more in control.

3. Empowering you

Knowledge is power and the more knowledge you have the more in control you will feel.  We can discuss the practicalities of divorce so that you feel more prepared or we can strategise co-parenting and communicating with your ex partner.  Wherever you are on your journey I will be here to support you with a kit of tried and tested tools to help you on your way.

4. Rediscovering you

Here we uncover the real you, the you before things started to go wrong, the you that is maybe hiding deep inside or bursting to get out! What is important for you going forwards? Where do you want to focus your energy?  We can talk about you becoming a brilliant single parent and amazing role model for your children, we can get you ready to consider dating again or just work out what beautiful bold colour you want to paint a wall at home.  All of these choices and more are now yours and it’s time to grab them by both hands and make your future the best one possible.

5. Action you

Together we’ll create an action plan for you to work on outside our sessions.  Taking action is the single most positive and empowering thing you can do for yourself and completing your plan will make you feel fulfilled and in control, what else are you capable of achieving?

Our sessions

Coaching sessions will be held on zoom and last for 60 minutes. Our first session will be a little longer to allow us to dig into your story.

Outside of our sessions I am available on email as I know that divorce isn't a Monday - Friday, 9am to 5pm kind of thing.  You might suddenly be gripped with a crisis that has brought back all the fear or just be in need of a reminder of how far you’ve come.
